Biographies

MAYUMI BECKERS
Mayumi is an Andean shamanic practitioner based in the Netherlands, devoted to guiding others on their path of healing, transformation, and empowerment. With a deep focus on helping others return to their natural alignment and essence, she facilitates reconnection with the true self and with nature, aspects often forgotten, suppressed, or fragmented through trauma, conditioning, and modern life experiences. Mayumi offers one-on-one sessions, both in person and remotely, ceremonial healing work, group workshops, and sacred travel opportunities. She is also the Co-Founder of Shamans Directory, a global nonprofit platform dedicated to bringing shamanic earth-based services to the world’s doorstep. She believes that life is a school of consciousness — always teaching, always evolving. Through her journey, Mayumi has gathered wisdom from around the world. Guided by the gifts of ancient earth-based medicine, she is honored to share her knowledge and practice in service to individuals, communities, and the world, and is and one of your hosts at the 2025 Gathering at the Cosmic Fire Summit.

TRICIA BENNETT
An addiction and trauma specialist for over 35 years, Tricia knew that ‘talking it out’ was not the way to every answer. She saw that the problems that plague us as individuals and as a human family were embedded, not only in our physical bodies and our minds, but in our energetic bodies (our spirit bodies), our ancestry, and the unfinished business of our past lives as well. Knowing that shamanic earth-based wisdom taps into all of these realms to support us, Tricia is committed to bringing this ancient and timely medicine to the forefront of all people’s minds when considering their overall health and wellbeing — and she looks forward to a time, very soon, when “call your shaman” is a phrase that is heard in every household across the world. Imagining that she was headed for retirement, Tricia is both surprised and profoundly grateful to be a founding member of Shamans Directory and one of your hosts at the 2025 Gathering at the Cosmic Fire Summit. She lives in the Northeast of the United States.

WAKE WHEELER
Wake is a traveler, seeker of Spirit, and student and practitioner of Ancient Spiritual Traditions living in the Northwest of the United States. Nearly 25 years ago he initiated a sabbatical from his law practice, journeyed to Peru, and met the shamans; receiving transmissions, engaging in ceremony, deepening his relationship with Spirit. The Andes drew him back for many pilgrimages which inspired Wake to facilitate spiritual journeys around the globe with Sacred Pathways. His first esoteric love is divination, beginning with the cards. Currently, he is especially drawn to the Way of the Energy Bundle and its dance of stone and thread. This portable altar, carried by countless generations of Medicine Men and Women, invites intimate experience of our own Indigenous Soul. Wake is passionate about creating community and what is possible when teachers and healers get to know and support one another. He is honored to shine light on the work of the global shamanic earth-based community as host of the Shaman2Shaman interview series, a Member of the Shamans Directory Team, and one of your hosts at the 2025 Gathering at the Cosmic Fire Summit.

EVA EAGLE TREE
Eva is an earth-based shamanic energy practitioner, based in British Columbia, Canada. She is dedicated to helping others alchemize ‘dis-ease’ and pain from unresolved trauma, into vibrant health, unconditional love, and heart-centered purpose. A student of Shamanic healing arts for the past 25+ years, Eva carries the wisdom of many teachers. She is a Mesa carrier of the Rainbow Lineage, as received by Maestro Puma Fredy Quispe Singona, and she carries a Mesa in the Pachakuti Mesa tradition as well. Ever evolving, Eva is committed to growing and honing her skills in the vast and ancient Energy technologies, so that she may be of the best service to her community and the world. She is delighted to offer her heart and her time, in service and in joy, as an active member of the Shamans Directory Team, and as one of your hosts at the 2025 Gathering at the Cosmic Fire Summit.
